Taking ‘Old Timers’ technology and placing our modern spin, we have released our version of the Rocker Box. The Rocker Box has always been an effective tool for recovering gold, especially in areas where water limits restrict the use of sluices.
So How Does It Work?
Once set up, you place unclassified wash material into the screen box, engage the pump mechanism and rock. Slowly, the water and wash are pushed to the back of the box via the apron. As the user continues the rocking, the material works its way down the box and the gold is recovered using V-Mat, Miners Moss and Diamond Riffle.
What’s Different About Our Version Of The Rocker Box?
Unlike the original Rocker Boxes, ours has been designed with portability and storage in mind, making it truly unique. As seen in the product pictures, it packs down into a neat 650mm (Length), 300mm(wide), and 80mm(high) box. We also incorporated our ‘Avago’ spin in the design, with the Rocker Box having a manual diaphragm bilge pump that can be turned on and off at the user’s discretion by simply manipulating the handle position.
What Is It Made Out Of?
The Rocker Box is constructed with stainless steel and aluminium for durability and includes the V-Mat, Miners Moss, and Diamond Screen. The classifier comes fitted with a 1/2″ screen, which the user can easily change.
Not included in the sale price are a suction strainer and hose. The pump will require a 40mm hose for suction and discharge.
